surfaces becoming alive, an organic appearance. The effect of the spatula concrete technique on walls and pavements is the consequence of an ancient and meticulous job, the so called “spatolato”. The result of such technique is an atmosphere in motion, alive; a rich surface of vains and grains; details mixed and blended with different colour nuances and shades. It consists in preparing a paste blending water, white concrete, natural pigments and vinyl components. Once finished, a series of treatments will be applied in order to make the entire surface washable.

here’s a constantly growing awareness that the quality and prerogatives of lime must be revalued either in traditional building and modern bio-architecture, as in the art of painting and rifining masonries. The “grassello of lime” is a perfect binder and the covered surface will turn out natural and transpiring. The atmosphere will turn out elegant and wrapping; the surface will be embroidered with soft shades of colour similar to those present in true stone. Once finished, a patina of soap of Marseilles will be applied in order to make washable the entire surface.

A technique of fine and ancient taste, retrieves the Renaissance style and donates decorative preciousness and elegance to the ambient. With the technique of the marmorino (more of a mat effect) and of the Venetian stucco (more glossy) the interested surface will obtain effects similar to marble with tonalities and veins and grains of the true stone. Naturalness and transpirability also for plasters in critical conditions, the marmorino find its birth in the city of Venice, where the strong humidity is a big issue either for inhabited building or monument.

The use of gold, silver or copper foil (leaf) and powder has always been a simple and precious technique to decorate furniture and objects. Through a patient job, a banal object can become something much more precious. This particular technique is suitable for any kind of surface.
